Join Sarah Hatcher for an afternoon of healthy hip opening, hamstring lengthening and backbending bliss. This class is for the yoga student who is looking for another way to open up their hips, protect their knees and strengthen their backbend. We will review elements in the ashtanga yoga sequence that are often overlooked or practiced complacently as well as research alternative postures that help support the more difficult postures like Ekapada Sirsasana (leg behind the head) and Urdhva Dhanurasana (Backbend).
This class is for all levels of practitioners.
