Dovecot Tapestry Studio is pleased to invite you to attend the Cutting Off Ceremony for the new tapestry After, After, After, The Monarch of the Glen, 2017 by Peter Saville, Sir Peter Blake and Dovecot.
This special event is a rare opportunity to step onto Dovecot’s Weaving Floor and hear Christopher Baker discuss Landseer’s famous painting before watching the tapestry being cut from the loom.
The talk starts at 6.15pm on the Weaving Floor of Dovecot Tapestry Studio and lasts for approximately 45 minutes including a chance to ask questions, meet the weavers and to enjoy the tapestry Cutting Off Ceremony. The event concludes with refreshments and a book signing in the Dovecot Shop, plus a final chance to see the Daughters of Penelope exhibition.
6.15-7pm Introduction and talk
7pm Cutting Off Ceremony
7.15-8pm Book signing and refreshments in the Dovecot Shop.
