    ReimagiNation: East Kilbride

    Festival
  • When
    19 August 17:00 - 23:00
  • ReimagiNation: East Kilbride is a festival weekend bringing stories out of the shadows of the New Town’s infamous architecture.

Produced by the Edinburgh International Book Festival in partnership with South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture, South Lanarkshire Council and The Village Centre, this Festival marks the second stop of an 18 month tour of Scotland’s 5 New Towns with an exciting programme of events, debates, performances, walking tours and more for adults and children.

From crime fiction to local history, comic book making to picture books for little ones, there are events for all ages and all interests as well as plenty of free drop-in activities. There’s even a pop-up Waterstones bookshop in The Village Centre, as well as lots of stalls selling products and sharing information about local events and services.

ReimagiNation is a chance to tell your story in your town, and hear others from some of the best authors and performers around.

Supported by players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
