  • When
    11 April 14:00 - 17:00
  • Have you ever been for a stroll and wondered how the countryside around you looked long ago?

A highly visual show, part folk song, part toy theatre, with glove puppets, cranky’s and transforming objects. Join Emma and the Magpie as the set unfurls and they journey from coastal clifftops to surreal urban sprawl in this light-hearted interactive puppet show.

The Swallow The Sea company is a trio of visual, audio and performance artists. Instigators of outdoor celebrations and singers of the sublime, adventures in puppetry have moved them by foot, bicycle, horse & cart and boat around Scotland, Denmark, Nepal, the Netherlands, North Carolina, Taiwan and Vermont. This is Swallow The Sea’s first appearance at Puppet Animation Festival.
