Sea Hames - Edinburgh Fringe Dance

  • When
    25 August 14:30 - 17:30
  • Part of Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Sea Hames is the latest performance project from leading site-specific dance theatre company, Oceanallover. Inspired by the Festival of the Horse and Boys’ Ploughing Match, Sea Hames fuses sonic composition, visceral performance and intricate design. It explores mythology and iconography, of horse, plough, sea and land.

It is about freedom and creativity, persistence of memory, tradition, innovation, attention to detail and wild brush-strokes. Performed at Dance Base in Edinburgh, 22-24 Aug and Dalkeith Country Park, 25-26 Aug. Performances are free, but to take a bus from Dance Base (exact pick up point TBC) to Dalkeith.
