The Celest Pereira Edinburgh WorkshopsSports
29 July 10:00 - 12:00
Tribe Yoga Quartermile is delighted to announce that Celest Pereira will be teaching 4 workshops this coming July. The four workshops spread over the weekend of the 29th of July are each 2.5 hours.
Celest is deeply passionate about yoga and wants people to leave her classes surprised by what they have accomplished. She is a professionally trained dancer and martial artist therefore her talents lie in teaching yoga asanas that link and flow, helping one discover the relationship between the poses. She has also completed a BSc in Physiotherapy lending to an in depth knowledge of the human body, how it works and what it can do. Her philosophy is that all one needs to do yoga is have a little courage and lots of fun! In this class, expect to work hard. Advanced postures will be woven into the flow and broken down to their most basic form so all levels will benefit. In addition to the postures, Celest will cover pranyama, use of the bandhas and meditation techniques.

Flow Therapy | 2.5 Hours | Saturday July 29th | 10.00 to 12.30
Join Celest in her Flow Therapy workshop. As a physiotherapist Celest loves bringing therapy into her workshops and classes. When people do her workshop they are amazed at what they discover about their own bodies. It'll transform how you approach your practice and you'll learn so much about what your body needs to thrive...
Myofascial Release | 2.5 hours | Saturday July 29th | 15.00 to 17.30
This is a very gentle workshop that partners students and teaches basic massage around the superficial muscles. It will also go into the anatomy and physiology of what is really happening underneath the skin. What is a 'knot'? Why do flexible people also get these tight sore spots? How can they be eliminated?
Intelligent Vinyasa | 2.5 hours | Sunday July 30th | 10.00 to 12.30
A look at the anatomy of yoga and how it can help and hinder your body's progress. The lecture is followed by a strong flow that will challenge the body by taking you away from traditional alignment and ways of moving.
Comfortable with the Uncomfortable | 2.5 hours | Sunday July 30th | 15.00 to 17.30
Yoga is one of the most complete forms of exercise I have ever found. But it's still not complete. This workshop will detail what those areas are and we will experience an intense flow that will help bring strength and flexibility into the areas yoga neglects. The main objective is to bring symmetry and balance into the body so it can be healthy.
Each workshop is £30 (£25 for members) and booking is required.
Workshops are non refundable but are transferrable in case you are unable to make it.
