    Who needs an ice cream maker when you’ve got liquid nitrogen? Come and watch our expert performer do some unforgettable science as you learn about the science of making instant frozen ice cream! Free and unticketed, giving out ice cream until it runs out!

    11am-12.30pm - Edinburgh International Film Festival 2009 Audience Award winner The Secret of Kells - a vibrantly animated retelling of the provenance of Ireland’s most cherished artefact, the Book of Kells. With the Viking hordes approaching, the monks of Kells are forced to turn their attention from transcribing manuscripts to building barricades. The future of the precious book is in jeopardy, and it falls to Brendan, young nephew of the Abbot Cellach (voiced by Brendan Gleeson) to save the day. £4.50 tickets for all, big or small!
