Live Music Now Scotland is delighted to present another programme of afternoon concerts in partnership with National Museums Scotland, to run during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the largest arts festival in the world.
Hannah Rarity and Luc McNally
Guitar and vocal duoHannah Rarity and Luc Daniel McNally draw on their wealth of traditional material to perform a range of energetic and sensitively penned songs based in the Scottish, English, Irish and American traditions, with a focus on songs that reflect the history of the Jacobites. Also playing on 12 August.
The theme for this year’s Free Fringe Music programme of traditional Scottish songs and instrumental sets will be Bonnie Prince Charlie and the Jacobites, tying in with the Museum’s major exhibition, “a compelling story of loyalty, loss, rebellion and retribution”.
