Free entry to Dynamic Earth and the UnEarthed showcase.Kids
18 November 10:00 - 16:00
We are very excited to announce that for one weekend only we will have FREE entry to Dynamic Earth to celebrate the UnEarthed showcase in collaboration with the Natural Environment Research Council.
More than 100 scientists will be on hand to share their research and answer your questions. From the fascinating and fun (think fossils and dinosaurs, killer shrimp and sea puffins) to the serious business of cleaning up our air, keeping the lights on, defending our homes from natural disasters and understanding the impact of climate change on our coasts, land and animals. Fascinating scientific equipment will be on display, including a 4-tonne drill used at the bottom of the ocean, and geological research vessel, the White Ribbon, used to map the seabed and understand our coasts.
Come along to UnEarthed and enjoy a tour of Dynamic Earth and get up close and personal with the science that shapes our environment and our lives!
